The Town of Wausau, Florida held a Special Emergency Meeting on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 4PM (see video below) to accept the resignation of Recreation Director Steve Hallmark, who has been in that position for the past four years.
At the same meeting the Wausau Council voted to accept Brandon Creamer, who has worked with Steve Hallmark for the past four years by coaching and working as a volunteer.
Mr. Creamer accepted the Emergency Appointment as Interim Recreation Director, contingent on the Town advertising to fill the job, and the Council noted that he would be welcome to formally apply for the position.
