The Town of Wausau is seeking applicants for the position of Utility Billing Clerk/Secretary for the office to perform task with ability to provide customer service in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
Must have polite telephone skills.
Computer skills are a must. Applicant must be able to pass background and drug test. Valid Driver’s License is required.
Employee will be responsible for processing monthly utility bills and payments, along with all aspects of the Town of Wausau water system.
Employee will work under the direction of the Town Clerk and will have other duties as assigned. Two years of Clerical experience is preferred but will train the right person. Must be able to multi-task.
The position is for 28 hours per week with the rate of pay $14.00 per hour. Benefits include Florida Retirement, annual and sick leave.
